Repainting

If you elect to re-paint your ACL HD-144 body and two rear side pieces, the officially designated color for the ACL HD-144 is either powdered dark gray or powdered black (the old wrinkled black look is a holdover from the 60s). All exposed anodized areas remain black, and the motor, base, top plastic cover and handle remain black.
